Jacksonville Beach city manager to retire
After 23 years as city manager, George Forbes to relinquish his duties Aug. 1

City Manager George Forbes will relinquish his duties on Aug. 1.
The announcement came during Monday evening's meeting of the Jacksonville Beach City Council.
Forbes has held the office for 23 years. He's the longest-serving city manager of Jacksonville Beach.
There's no word yet on who will replace him.
