JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A missing 52-year-old Jacksonville woman was found safe in the Riverside area on Tuesday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda posted to social media that she was driving home when she saw Michelle Cropper walking onto Interstate 10 from Roosevelt Boulevard, about 10 miles from where she was initially reported missing.
Cropper was first reported missing on Monday after she walked out of her home in the area of Old Plank Road and Chaffee Road on the Westside, police said.
Cropper suffers from dementia and memory loss, requiring medication and 24-hour care, police said.
Bujeda said Cropper was safe and will be reunited with her family soon.
