Man shot on Westside in critical condition

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has released surveillance video of a man believed to be responsible for a shooting that happened in a Westside neighborhood.

The video shows the suspect wearing a mask while riding a bicycle riding in the area at the time.

News4JAX has learned the man was fighting for his life at a hospital Saturday night, after he was found lying on a sidewalk.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Austin Road, not far from Ricker Road.
