Sheriff's Office Lt. Chris King said Walmart employees were able to quickly put out the flames with fire extinguishers. But customers were evacuated and the store was closed early due to the incident.

It's unclear how many people were inside the store at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

According to the police report, the city fire marshal ruled the event an arson and contacted the state fire marshal.

The incident report shows the fire damaged $200 worth of men's socks and underwear, and caused $200 in damage to shelves.

The store reopened Friday morning. However, shoppers will not be able to access the clothing or baby departments, said store employees.
