JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police have identified a man who died Thursday in a single-vehicle wreck in Oceanway, the 12th person killed in a Jacksonville traffic crash so far this year.
John Revenaugh, 73, of Capstan Drive, was behind the wheel of an SUV that veered off Starratt Road and struck a tree about 2:20 p.m. Thursday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office said the vehicle driven by Revenaugh was heading east on Starratt, not far from the Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, when the vehicle left the road.
Revenaugh, who suffered serious injuries in the crash, did not survive.
