1 killed in drive-by shooting near Ribault River Jacksonville homicide detectives investigate shooting on Ken Knight Drive No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 27-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in a drive-by on Ken Knight Drive, off Moncrief Road by the Ribault River, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said a black sedan, likely a Hyundai or Kia with two men inside, stopped near the victim just before shots were fired about 2:45 p.m.
Police later identified the victim as Ronald Jenkins, who was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where he died.
Homicide detectives said police were asking the public for help finding the vehicle that was believed to be involved in the shooting.
