Police: Man shot while driving on Arlington Expressway

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot while driving Thursday evening in Arlington, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Officers responded about 7:50 p.m. to Arlington Road, where they found a man who had been shot.

Police said they learned the man was driving on Arlington Expressway when an unknown person shot into the car. The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police noted three other people were inside the car, but no other injuries were reported.
