4 charged with first-degree murder in Westside shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Duval County Grand Jury indicted four people Thursday in connection with a deadly shooting on Jacksonville's Westside, the State Attorney's Office said.

Keith Jackson, Chyon Horne, Brandon Roundtree and Lewis Braclet were charged after Keith Thompson was found dead on April 27 in the back yard of a home on E. Westbrook Circle, just off Commonwealth Avenue, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said. Gunshots were heard at the location.

Jackson, 25, was indicted on charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Horne, 22, was indicted on charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping with a firearm.

Roundtree, 24, was indicted on charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Braclet, 24, was indicted on charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping with a firearm.
