Bounty Hunter Asked To Stay Away From Misty Misty Cummings In Jail On Drug Trafficking Charges
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla is being asked to stay away from Misty Cummings, who's in jail on drug trafficking charges.
Padilla once bonded suspected child killer Casey Anthony out of jail.
Cummings' attorney sent a letter to Padilla in California asking him cease and desist from contacting Cummings.
The letter implies that Padilla may be trying to influence Cummings' parents to work with him by buying them a car and cell phones.
Cummings, the last person to see missing 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings more than one year ago, is being held on in the St. Johns County Jail on drug charges with a $1.35 million bond.
Padilla had said that he would bond Cummings out of jail if she provided information on where Haleigh might be.
