Woman, 29, killed in Alachua County crash

Witnesses report she was driving over 90 mph

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A 29-year-old woman died in a crash on I-75 in Alachua County on Wednesday night.

Megan Marie Wyche was driving northbound on the interstate, just north of Alachua, at a high rate of speed, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.

Witnesses reported she was driving well over 90 mph and in a "reckless manner," according to troopers.

Wyche lost control while making a slight curve, causing her vehicle to abruptly swerve into the grassy shoulder.

Her vehicle overturned several times and struck a fence.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
