River Fery to resume Thursday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - In the wake of Hurricane Irma, JTA has reopened bus service on most of its routes.

All JTA bus routes were back in service Tuesday with the exceptions of routes 4A (Kings Road), 5A (Park/Blanding), 82 (Amazon Shuttle) and the Express Route.

Because of road closures associated with fallen trees, downed power lines, debris and flooding, bus service may experience delays, according to JTA.

Skyway service and JTA fixed route bus and paratransit services were scheduled to reopen on Wednesday.

The St. Johns River Ferry will resume service on Thursday.

JTA travelers needing customer service can call 904-630-3100 from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
