The junior quarterback and 2019 National Championship Game MVP is projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and right now, Jacksonville is poised to have the first pick.

News4Jax spoke with one Jags fan who preordered his Lawrence shirt.

“It would be nice if we do get Lawrence and if we stay in that first spot,” Bruce Swindell said. “We want to get Lawrence, but we should never tank a game.”

If the Jaguars (1-13) lose the last two games of the season, the team is guaranteed the first pick in the 2021 draft.

The Jaguars face the Chicago Bears (7-7) on Sunday and finish the season against the Indianapolis Colts (10-4).
