Water main break leaves Macclenny residents without water Saturday
Boil water notice in effect
MACCLENNY, Fla. – A “major” water main break in Macclenny on Saturday left residents experiencing a citywide water outage.
The city said in a Facebook post that crews were working quickly to repair the line and have service restored as soon as possible.
The city asked citizens to check its Facebook and city website pages for updates.
A post on The Baker County Press Facebook page said the city manager reported the water main break was north of the aboveground tank near Christian Fellowship Temple on Ohio Avenue.
A boil water notice was issued by the city until further notice.
