JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 25-year-old man was charged with murder after police say an argument over a pickup truck at a Northwest Jacksonville Monday night escalated to gunfire and one man died.
Mack Johnson was detained at the scene at a gas station at the corner of New Kings and Moncrief road. Sgt. Edwin Cayenne said Johnson pulled a gun and fired during the argument.

After Johnson was questioned by detectives, he was arrested and booked into the Duval County jail. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said they weren’t sure what the argument was about but the men knew each other.
