ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Now this is emu-sing.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office responded to an interesting call over the weekend.
It looked as if it could have been a Liberty Mutual ad, but it was actually an animal rescue call they don’t often get: Emu on the loose.
That’s right, an emu had wandered into the front yard of a residence it didn’t belong to, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officers responded and were successful in locating the animal’s owner.
The emu was reunited with his family. We are sure it was an “emutional” reunion.
