Police investigating after woman shot on Jacksonville’s Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was shot on the Northside.
Police responded to the scene on Linwood Avenue around 7 p.m. Sunday evening. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It’s believed the shooting was a result of a domestic incident.
JSO hasn’t released any additional details, saying that the incident is currently an ongoing investigation.
