‘Botox bandit’ accused of receiving over $2K in procedures, fleeing Jax Beach med spa

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is searching for a “Botox bandit.”

According to a police report, a woman received a medical procedure at Jax Beach Body MD Aesthetic Wellness on Wednesday and then left without paying for the services.

Melinda Keener, owner and CEO of the med spa, told News4JAX the woman, who police identified as Monica Daroui, used a fake name to receive botox and fillers. The cost of the services was $2,500, according to an incident report.

The report stated that Daroui had a male accomplice. After the procedure was completed, Daroui told the doctor that the man with her would be paying, but his card was declined.

According to the report, he said he “needed to go out to the car to get another one,” but the two jumped in the car and drove off in a light gray Mercedes.

If you have any information about the reported theft, call the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.
