Person hospitalized in crash involving car, train on Highway 17, JFRD says

One person was rushed to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries following a crash Monday night on Highway 17, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
Photos from the scene showed the crash, which happened at the intersection of Plymouth Street, involved an Amtrak train.
