Emerson Street at I-95 closed due to structural damage caused by accident, police say
Emerson Street at I-95 was closed Monday. (Florida Department of Transportation)JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Emerson Street at Interstate 95 was closed Monday afternoon due to structural damage, police said.
As of around 1:50 p.m., Emerson Street was closed between Philips Highway and Bowden Road.
Police said an accident caused structural damage to the underpass.
The Florida Department of Transportation had structural engineers respond to the scene to check the integrity of the structure.
