The Florida Legislature is voting on a bill that would allow the state to revoke the licenses of restaurants and other establishments that allow children to attend drag shows.

The bill was filed by Jacksonville Republican Sen. Clay Yarborough, who said the goal is to protect children.

Last month, the DeSantis administration moved to revoke the liquor license of Hyatt Regency Miami after it hosted a Christmas drag show where children were present. Undercover state agents did, however, report that they found nothing lewd about the show.
