No gun found after Englewood High placed on lockdown following report of firearm on campus

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Englewood High School was placed on a Code Red lockdown Friday after a report of a firearm on campus.

Police responded and found that a student had been on campus earlier in the week with a pellet gun but the student was not on campus on Friday.

The Code Red was reduced to a Code Yellow after the all clear was given, meaning students’ movement on campus was limited.

No other information was immediately available.
