It’s unclear if he will face any charges. JSO is still investigating the incident, which was labeled a kidnapping at one point by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement when it issued an Amber Alert for Fernanda Arias around 9:30 a.m. The Amber Alert was canceled just before noon.

According to law enforcement, Arias left her home near Beach Boulevard and Peach Drive just before 3 a.m. Monday in a dark-colored vehicle, described as a two-door Honda with a large rear spoiler, possibly being driven by Reyes.

Police said the pair was found “in the vicinity” of Arias’ home.
