Older couple found dead in apparent murder-suicide near Green Cove Springs

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A man and a woman in their 60s were found dead Sunday in what the Clay County Sheriff’s Office believes is a murder-suicide.

The sheriff’s office said the couple was found in their home on County Road 209 just south of Green Cove Springs by a family member.

No other details about the deaths or the people involved were released by authorities.
