Structure fire closes lanes of Philips Highway Thursday morning

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Firefighters responded to a structure fire Thursday around 4:30 a.m. at 4700 Philips Highway near Hudnall Road.

All lanes of Philips Highway, from Reba to University Boulevard West, were blocked for an hour.

News4JAX received photos showing the fire coming from a pile on the property of the recycling plant.

No one was hurt and no buildings were damaged.
