Officers quickly learned the shooting stemmed from a fight between a father and his adult son.

The father, who is in his 50s, was arguing with his son, who is in his 30s, in the parking lot of the school.

She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives were collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses and locating video surveillance after the altercation Wednesday, and police said the men are being detained during the investigation.

JSO said, “No determination on criminal charges will be made until all the facts are collected.”
