Cold weather shelters open as freeze watches are issued for Northeast Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As the temperatures around Jacksonville are expected to drop into the low to mid-30s overnight, Sulzbacher will open its doors to unhoused women, men and families.

The cold weather shelter will provide temporary sleeping areas in the dining room and library areas of the facility starting Monday, Dec. 18 through Wednesday morning Dec. 20 at the following locations:
