Several valuables stolen out of truck at Downtown parking lot

Jacksonville, Fla. – A local woman is expressing her frustration to News4Jax after she claims that someone stole several valuable items from her truck while it was parked in Downtown Jacksonville.

The break-in happened as she was attending a concert at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday night. Her truck was parked at the Fairground parking lot.

The woman did not want to be identified but said that a firearm, some cash and something that belonged to her dead relative was taken out of the vehicle.

News4jax has reached out to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the fairgrounds, to ask if there will be more patrolling in the area following this. We are still waiting to hear back.
