Man dead after shooting in Spring Park area apartment

JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – A man is dead after being shot inside an apartment on Sunday around 1:20 a.m. in the Spring Park neighborhood a few blocks away from Beach Boulevard, according to a release from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded and pronounced the man dead on the scene. Investigators are speaking with at least two people who were inside the apartment when the shooting happened.
So far, no one has been arrested.
JSO said it’s an isolated incident and wants anyone with information to call them at 904-630-0500 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS to remain anonymous.
