Man found dead in open field in Northwest Jacksonville No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man in his late 20s or early 30s was found dead on the side of the road in a field area in Northwest Jacksonville on Saturday shortly after 8:00 a.m., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office .
Officials were called near Commonwealth Avenue where the man was found dead. A neighbor was walking their dog when they saw the body and notified police.
JSO is working to locate his family and notify his next of kin. Officials said his death is undetermined as it is waiting for results from the medical examiner’s office.
