Man shot, killed during argument at apartment complex off Old St. Augustine Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot during an argument Tuesday night at an apartment complex off Old St. Augustine Road and died, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Police were called to the complex on Pritmore Road, just west of San Jose Boulevard, just after 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Detectives said the man and another person got into an argument and the man was shot.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue personnel tried to save the man, but he died at the scene.

The other person involved in the argument has been detained by police.
