ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a possible kidnapping suspect who fled on foot after a vehicle pursuit on State Road 16 in St. Augustine.
The suspect has been identified as Jonathon Babcock.

Officials said the adult victim related to this incident was recovered and is safe.
Investigators described Babcock as a white male and said he was last seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie with blue jeans, a red hat, and multiple tattoos on his chest and stomach.
Deputies said Babcock is known to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who lives in the area and has cameras is asked to check their video footage to help with the investigation.
