ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office arrested a possible kidnapping suspect who fled on foot after a vehicle pursuit on State Road 16 in St. Augustine.
Jonathon Babcock was taken into custody Monday afternoon after a two-day search. He was charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement, false imprisonment, and reckless driving.

Officials said the adult victim related to this incident was recovered and is safe.
