JSO cruiser and another vehicle completely charred on I-95 near Forrest Street in Riverside (WJXT)
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office cruiser and another car caught fire Wednesday after a brief pursuit on Interstate 95 near the Forrest Street exit in Riverside.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fire spread quickly from the suspect’s car to the police cruiser after the car ran into the guardrail and the officer ran into the vehicle.

It’s uncertain why the officer was pursuing the individual.
No one was injured, FHP said.
