Man dies after being found with gunshot wound in car on I-295 at I-10 interchange

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man died after police said they found him with a gunshot wound inside his car on Interstate 295 at the Interstate 10 interchange Saturday night.
JSO officers said they responded to the interstate around 8:10 p.m. in reference to a car that had traveled off the road and into the tree line.
When they arrived, police found an unidentified man inside the car suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JFRD then transported the man to a local hospital where he died.
At this time, police don’t know the circumstances of the incident or the relationship of the people involved. They also haven’t been able to determine the exact location of the shooting.
