NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – WJXT, The Local Station, is honored to be named media sponsor of the 2024 Fernandina Beach Pride Parade and Festival.
River City Live host Jana Angel and Meteorologist Katie Garner will emcee the Pride event taking place on Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Fernandina.

The event, held first in 2019, is a celebration of love, acceptance and equality throughout Fernandina Beach.
“Our vision is to create an inspiring and dedicated culture of support across our diverse community,” the Fernandina Beach Pride website says. “We encourage fellowship and support among participating businesses, professionals, individuals and charitable pursuits in the LGBTQ+ and allied communities.”
