Rapper Fatman Scoop dies after collapsing on stage during concert in Connecticut

HAMDEN, Conn. – Rapper Isaac Freeman III, better known as Fatman Scoop, died after he collapsed on stage during a performance in Connecticut Friday night.
According to Hamden Mayor Lauren Garrett, Freeman, 53, was transported to a hospital after collapsing on the stage at Hamden Town Center Park.
On Saturday morning, Freeman’s family announced via his official Instagram account that he had died.

Freeman was best known for his 1999 track “Be Faithful.” He also featured in Missy Elliot’s 2005 hit “Lose Control.”
