Florida Missing Child alert issued for 16-year-old Lake City girl

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – Columbia County Sheriff’s Office detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Emma Peebles who is believed to have run away from home.
Her disappearance triggered a Florida Missing Child Alert.
Child reported missing in Lake City. (Copyright 2024 by WJXT News4JAX - All rights reserved.) She is 5′4″/170lbs and is believed to have taken her cat with her.
There is an unknown last clothing description or direction of travel, but she was last known to be in the area of Ralph Terrace in Lake City.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact dispatch at 386-719-2005.
