Woman found dead in home after structure fire in Arlington, foul play not suspected

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department crews discovered a dead woman inside a home in Arlington while putting out the flames early Saturday morning.

Patrol officers responded to the 5400 block of North River Court after receiving reports of a fire.

Authorities stated that there is currently no evidence of foul play.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit and the State Fire Marshal are investigating to determine the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
