Detour scheduled for Sanctuary Parkway in Jacksonville Beach on Friday

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – A detour of Sanctuary Parkway in Jacksonville Beach is scheduled Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to Florida Department of Transportation.
Officials said the closure of Sanctuary Parkway from South Beach Parkway to the Butler Boulevard westbound on-ramp is necessary for paving work to be completed safely.
City officials said they expect the closure to create disruptions to traffic. Drivers are asked to follow detour signs and use extra caution in the area.
