Traffic resumes on Norwood Avenue after stalled train cleared

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Both directions of Norwood Avenue were shut down at 9:47 a.m. due to a train stalled on the tracks, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

The incident blocked traffic near the intersection of Norwood Avenue and Carlton Street.

News4JAX reached out to a nearby restaurant, CJ’s Crab House. An employee said the roads were still backed up at 10:30 a.m.
