Small fire overnight at VyStar Ballpark: JFRD
The ballpark, currently known as 121 Financial Ballpark, is pending a name change to VyStar Ballpark, following 121 Financial’s merger with VyStar. (Copyright 2024 by WJXT News4JAX - All rights reserved.)
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A small fire early Wednesday morning inside VyStar Ballpark was put out quickly and left no structural damage, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said.
Firefighters got the call just before 4 a.m. Wednesday and responded to the ballpark.
A JFRD spokesman said the fire was completely out within 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
