Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrests sexual predator connected to 2017 murder

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday arrested a sexual predator connected to a 2017 murder.
June 9 marked 8 years since a 39-year-old woman was found dead in the parking lot of Master’s Touch Ministry on Soutel Drive in the Harborview area of Jacksonville.
Percy Johnson, 65, is a registered sexual predator with cases in Jacksonville and St. Johns County, with one case dating back nearly 30 years.
JSO said he is now facing a murder charge in the woman’s death.
