JSO to host town hall in District 3: Baymeadows, UNF, San Pablo, eTown

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is hosting a town hall in District Three on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at University Church.

Sheriff T.K. Waters and officials who handle service calls in District Three, which encompasses the Southside and Mandarin including: Baymeadows, the University of North Florida, San Pablo, and eTown areas.

Officials said the agenda includes Waters talking about the “historic drop” in murders and what the agency is doing to prevent violent crime.

District Three Commander Petena Tillman will be in attendance to share updates specific to the district.

Attendees can ask Waters and other leaders questions about resources and what’s going on in their area.

The town hall is at 6 p.m. at University Church, located at 5520 West University Boulevard.
