Crew-11 launch from Kennedy Space Center scrubbed due to weather

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. – NASA and SpaceX were aiming for Thursday to launch their next crewed mission to the International Space Station.
Crew-11 was scheduled to lift off no earlier than 12:09 p.m. from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
That did not happen due to a dark cloud over the launch site.
Teams are now targeting Friday, August 1.
The crew includes NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, along with mission specialists Kimiya Yui from the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency and Oleg Platonov from Russia’s Roscosmos space agency.
They will launch aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft atop the company’s Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center.
