Car fire causes rush hour backups on I-295 near San Jose Blvd.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Emergency crews were on the scene of a vehicle fire on I-295 North between mile marker 4 and San Jose Boulevard.

As of 4:50 p.m., the fire was out, but one right lane was blocked, causing backups.

As of 6:05 p.m., all lanes were back open, and traffic was flowing again.
