According to police, Allen Washington, 25, is facing a murder charge due to his involvement in the death of Carlos Oyenarte, 36, who died on Aug. 19 following a shooting at the Oak Tree Apartments.
JSO said Washington was already in jail for an unrelated case when he was arrested for Oyenarte’s murder.
“We’ll work with our partners at the State Attorney’s Office to bring justice for Oyenarte’s loved ones,” the agency said.
