TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – It’s not an everyday occurrence when someone is honored for their exceptional work in their respective field, but when it does happen, it’s important to ensure they receive the recognition they deserve.
News4JAX General Manager Terri Cope Walton was honored Tuesday night with an “Above and Beyond” award from the News Service of Florida as part of the organization’s effort to “honor exceptional women who have distinguished themselves in their industry.”
The award ceremony took place at the Doubletree Hotel in Tallahassee and marks the third time the News Service of Florida has held the event.
