ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – One person died Wednesday morning following a crash involving a car and a bicycle in St. Johns County, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on South Holmes Boulevard and Collier Boulevard in West St. Augustine.

According to the sheriff’s office, South Homles Blvd. is shut down from Butler Avenue to State Road 312.
Osceola Elementary School, which is near the crash scene, may be impacted by the closure, deputies said.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
