Truck fire causes backups on I-295 South at New Kings Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Crews were on the scene of a truck fire on I-295 South at New Kings Road in Jacksonville.

A traffic camera in the area showed a charred pickup truck on the shoulder of I-295 South.

As of 2 p.m., the incident was causing traffic backups on I-295 South, all the way to Dunn Avenue.

The scene was later cleared.
