PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – A 25-year-old man in Putnam County who was charged in February with burglarizing a home while naked tried to run out of his court hearing this week, the Sheriff’s Office said.

When the judge revoked his bond at the hearing, the bailiff placed the man under arrest, but he decided he didn’t want to stick around for the intake process, according to deputies.

The man “uttered an expletive that rhymed with ‘duck this’ and ran from the courtroom,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a post on social media.

But court security was ready and blocked the man’s exit. He was again taken into custody by bailiffs and now faces additional charges of escape and resisting an officer without violence.

He was already charged with burglary, criminal mischief, 2 counts of battery and resisting an officer with violence.

He is being held in the Putnam County Jail without bond.
